John Kenneth Galbraith's Trilogy: The Affluent Society, The New Industrial State, Economics and the Public Purpose

John Kenneth Galbraith presented his principal intellectual contribution to the field (and a systematic critique of the American economy's problems) in a trilogy of books beginning with The Affluent Society, continuing with The New Industrial State and capped off with Economics and the Public Purpose, just reviewed here, rounding out my review of the trilogy. (I reviewed The Affluent Society and The New Industrial State on this blog last month; just follows the links to read them.)
