The numbers don't surprise me at all. All the protests and riots in every country happened for a reason, the lack EU to handle the financial crisis. A union like this one is bound to not succeed. And the different opinions and mentality of all the nations prevented it from acting fast and effectively. Now we see the results and strange individual attempts to save whatever can be saves, for example the protectionism of Mr. Sarkozy. I wonder if the union will get past this crisis or will fall and will be a victim of this crisis.
